Field Day
WHAT IS FIELD DAY?
Mark your calendars for Field Day on Wednesday, May 20, 2026! During school hours, students will engage in fun indoor and outdoor activities, all under the watchful eye of their advisory teacher. Don't worry, lunch will still take place in the cafeteria as usual. When not participating in Field Day, students will partake in various indoor rotations and activities. Get ready for a day of excitement and adventure!
The times for field day games are as follows:
6th Grade: 1:20 p.m. – 3:10 p.m.
7th Grade: 9:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
8th Grade: 11:10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Pearson Field Day Lunch Schedules are as follows:
6th Grade: 11:25 a.m. – 11:55 a.m.
7th Grade: 12:11 p.m. – 12:41 p.m.
8th Grade: 1:05 p.m. – 1:35 p.m.
Please make sure your child brings the following items to school for field day:

Comfortable weather-appropriate clothes (school appropriate) in assigned color (this information has already been shared))

Comfortable closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, running shoes, etc.)

Refillable water bottle

Sunscreen (optional but recommended)

Hat (optional)

Sunglasses (optional)
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Attention all Pearson families! We are looking for volunteers to facilitate games for all grade levels. Please use the Sign-Up Genius link below to sign up as a parent volunteer. If you choose to volunteer, please ensure that you follow these instructions:

We will need:

14 volunteers across 7 stations for all grades

Volunteers must check in and be prepared 30 minutes before the activity begins to receive instructions for their event. You will stay at the station/event that you are assigned to.

Before volunteering, a background check must be completed prior to the day of. Keep in mind that this check must be renewed every year. Click Here
